The Introduction of American School Districts Education Association

The American School Districts Education Association (ASDEA) is a collaboration of 28 school districts from five states, namely, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas and Connecticut. It is dedicated to the exchange and cooperation of international education between member schools and schools from outside the United States.

Since 2013, ASDEA led by the Wisconsin Public School District and the University of Wisconsin, has been working on promoting Sino-US education exchange activities in Asia. The other sister states are following the pace of Wisconsin, keep learning and strive for greater exchanges and development in the Asia-Pacific region. At present, the foreign cultural exchange activities between Asia and each school district under ASDEA are very mature.

 

Wisconsin

Wisconsin is a state with top education resources and has been well-known in its strength in education for a long time. WSDA supported by Wisconsin State Government and led by Wisconsin University system, is specialized in developing international education exchange activities. It comprises of three top school districts:

School District of Janesville

School District of Janesville is located in the Rocky County in southern Wisconsin, 40 kilometers from Madison, the capital of Wisconsin. Only an hour's drive from Chicago, Janesville is connected to other parts of the world with convenient traffic conditions. This district consists of two ‘Silver Medal’ high schools (Craig High School and Parker High School), three Middle Schools, 12 Elmentary Schools and 15 community partnerships (4-year-old school-age children). According to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has chosen four Janesville schools as 2018-19 Title I ‘ Schools of Recognition’ showed that Jackson and Roosevelt elementary schools and Franklin Middle School were among 114 schools across the state that made the cut, according to a news release. The latest rankings in 2020 from the US. News shows that Craig Middle School and Parker High School are two of the best high schools in Janesvillie.

Wauwatosa School District

The Wauwatosa School District is a comprehensive community public school district. The SD has two high schools, two middle schools, and eleven elementary schools. The public education of Wauwatosa has 96.5% college enrollment; A high percentage of high school students enrolled in AP® courses to earn college credit and have demonstrated success at college-level coursework. Statistics according to the U. S. News ratings website, Wauwatosa West High School is Top 27 of 440 schools  in‘ 2020 Best College Prep Public High Schools in Wisconsin’ Numerous data show that the school district education advantage is obvious.

School District of Marshfield

The Marshfield School District is located in Marshfield City in central Wisconsin, which sits at the intersection of national highways U.S. Highway 10, 13 and 97. With a population of approximately 20,000, Marshfield is home to the Marshfield Clinic, a large healthcare system that serves much of the central, northern, and western Wisconsin. With its pleasant residential environment, Marshfield was ranked the 5th in ‘ The Best Small Cities to Raise a Family" in the US by Forbes magazine in 2010’. The elementary and middle schools in the district are very high quality. As an example, Marshfield High School is ranked within the top 30% of all 2,029 schools in Wisconsin (based off of combined math and reading proficiency testing data) for the 2016-17 school year. 

 

Michigan

Michigan is the most promising education state in the United States. It is located in the Great Lakes Region and has one of the top 10 universities in the US, the University of Michigan.

Harbor Springs Public Schools

There are two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school in the Harbour Springs Public School Board, the school district is regarded as one of the best in Michigan. In 2014, the Harbour Springs Public School Board was nominated by the Center for Michigan Bridge Magazine for the Academic State Champ Award. 8

Rochester School District

The Rochester Public School District operates 13 elementary schools, four middle schools and three high schools. Rochester High School, Stonylick High School, and Adams High School are all excellent public high schools with leading teaching standards in Michigan and the United States. All three were College Success Award winners in 2018.

 

Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania, the second largest state of education in the United States, is home to many top universities,such as the University of Pennsylvania, which is one of the Ivy League universities.

Centennial School District

The Centennial Public School District was founded in 1727. Currently, there are approximately 5,900 students in the school district, covering grades K-12. It operates three elementary schools, two junior high schools, and one high school.

The Centennial School District is the only public school district in Buck County that has a mobile manufacturing lab, providing the best STEM experience for its middle and high school students.

 

Texas

Texas is a state with great cultural characteristics with rich educational resources, including the University of Texas at Austin (No. 48)[10], Rice University (No. 14), Southern Methodist University (No. 59), and Texas A&M University (No. 69).

Venus Independent School District

The Venus Public School Board operates an elementary school, a middle school, and a high school, providing high-quality education services that have been well received by the local community and the American education community.

Arlington Independent School District

Arlington Independent School District operates 10 high schools, 10 middle schools and xx elementary schools. In 2017,the school district was rated ‘Academically acceptable’ by the State of Texas education.

Mansfield Independent School District

The Mansfield City Public School Board operates 23 elementary schools, six middle schools, and six high schools.

 

Connecticut

Connecticut, one of the wealthiest states in the country, is home to Ivy League research university, Yale University, which educated five American Presidents.

Lyme — Old Lyme School District

The school district operates five schools in the area, including three elementary schools (one of which is located in Lyme), Lyme -Old Lyme Middle School and Lyme - Old Lyme High School. The Lyme-Old Lyme High School's girls soccer team is particularly noted for its dominant run of state championships and conference titles in recent years. The School District's college enrollment rate is 92 percent, and the SD’s advanced placement scores in CT is Top Two.

3 George S. Parker High School is a comprehensive public high school located on the west side of the city of JanesvilleWisconsin. The school, named for George S. Parker, founder of the Parker Pen Company, is a part of the School District of Janesville and was constructed in 1967. The rival east side school is Joseph A. Craig High School.
