International High School Program

The "2+1" American High School Curriculum Project is a public-to-public cooperation project which is based on the establishment of educational strategic cooperation between the education bureaus of various provinces and cities in China and the Janesville School District and Marshfield School District in Wisconsin, the United States. Well-known public high schools in Asia and the United States have reciprocally cooperated and joined hands in strength, and the two sides signed an agreement on mutual recognition of credits. According to the cooperation agreement, students enrolling in the "2+1" American High School Program are automatically registered to be  American high school students. The students will study in Asian partner high schools in grade 10 and 11 and go to the U.S. for the study of grade 12. The credits they get in Asian partner high schools will be admitted by American high schools. The students will obtain American public high school diploma after they complete the required credits in American high schools and apply for American or worldwide universities under the guidance of American high school counselors as U.S. high school graduates.
During the study in American high schools, students can choose from the abundant kinds of AP courses provided according to their hobbies, which can be used to improve their high school GPA, thereby effectively increase the success rate of admission to famous universities. Since the AP courses that students have already passed can be exempted in future university studies, students who take more AP courses can not only reduce the cost of studying abroad, but can also graduate earlier. In addition, because American universities and American high schools both adopt the same "class system" and "credit system", the students' experience of studying and living in the United States for one year will play an important role in adapting to the study and life of American universities in advance, thereby improving The success rate of studying abroad.
The "2+1" project partner schools currently have Jiangsu Province Liangfeng High School and Nanjing Hexi Foreign Language School. According to the university application situation of students who have graduated from Liangfeng’s "2+1" Program, more than 50% Of the students are admitted to the top 50 universities in the US news world rankings, and 100% of the students are admitted to the top 100 universities in the United States. The most important thing is that among all these graduates, when they were admitted to the International Department of Liangfeng High School, only 3 students achieved the admission score of Liangfeng Ordinary High School that year. Many students’ scores on the high school entrance examination were about the lowest score of Chinese ordinary high school. After 3 years, these students were eventually admitted to prestigious schools with world rankings equal to or surpassing domestic "985" and "211" Chinese universities. These admission results fully proved the success and reliability of the international program of Jiangsu Province Liangfeng High School.
