On July 7, 2025, the Public Education Bureau of Wisconsin, USA, successfully hosted an American-style summer camp program within China. Titled “Fantastic English Explorers Growth Camp,” the event featured three campuses catering to different age groups: preschoolers, lower elementary students, and upper elementary students, covering children from kindergarten through primary school years.

The camp offered a diverse array of activities including: English picture book storyhouses, sing-and-dance English nursery rhymes, role-play theaters, English creative handicrafts, drama performance workshops, reading & writing studios, English trivia competitions, movie appreciation sessions, and oral English intensives. This domestically hosted American-style camp provided children with authentic US camp experiences without overseas travel.

Led by certified teachers and subject matter experts dispatched from Wisconsin’s public education system, the program featured small-class immersive teaching conducted entirely in English. Beyond improving oral English proficiency, children gained exposure to cutting-edge American culture and education, opening a window to global understanding. The comprehensive camp curriculum also fostered well-rounded development in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and practical dimensions.
