On January 6, 2025, Chris, the Deputy Director of the Janesville Public School District in Wisconsin, USA, along with Heidi, the Deputy Director of the International Department, and Fritz, a leading teacher of key subjects, visited the Changzhou Education Bureau, Changzhou Sanjing Experimental Primary School, and Changzhou Beijiao Senior High School for an exchange and visit.

In the morning, the Janesville Public School District delegation arrived at the Changzhou Education Bureau and received a warm reception. A formal cooperation signing ceremony was held afterward, with the Deputy Director of the City Government’s Foreign Affairs Office and representatives from the Changzhou Education International Exchange Association attending the meeting. During the meeting, leaders from the Changzhou Education Bureau and the Deputy Director of the City Government’s Foreign Affairs Office introduced the current status and development prospects of education in Changzhou, while Director Chris presented an overview of education in Janesville. At the same time, the Changzhou Education International Exchange Association shared its experience and achievements in foreign cooperation and exchanges. On this basis, the Janesville Public School District, Changzhou Education Bureau, and Changzhou Education International Exchange Association signed a memorandum of cooperation.

In the afternoon, accompanied by Jiang Yue, the Deputy Director of the Changzhou Education Bureau Office, the delegation visited the elegant campus of Sanjing Experimental Primary School in New North District. Led by the school’s principal, the delegation toured the campus and enjoyed a traditional Chinese music performance, “The Mad Dance of the Golden Serpent,” prepared by the students. The delegation members then participated in a calligraphy activity for the Chinese New Year, writing Spring Festival couplets with the students. Teachers from both sides also held discussions on educational philosophies, teaching methods, and student activities, sharing their educational experiences and insights.
