Last year, Chinese government senior leaders visited the US and are thrilled to begin rekindling both countries’ friendship through student exchange. The Jiangsu Education Service for International Exchange and the Jiangsu Education Department are excited to invite US high school students to visit various cities throughout Jiangsu, China over the coming months and years to experience Chinese culture and education. Schools such as Muscatine High School from Iowa have already had an opportunity to visit Beijing back in January of this year and Craig High School from Wisconsin has also participated in multiple exchanges over the years.
In June this year, we have already invited more than 400 US high school students from different states like Pennsylvania, Delaware, Utah and Wisconsin to participate with our program and it has been quite successful, everyone had a very good experience and enjoyed very much.
Jiangsu is eager to be one of the first provinces to become active in this program and would like to extend an invitation to your school district to see our lovely province and its cities. We will begin hosting students, teachers, and chaperones this June, 2024 and this program will be ongoing over the next few years.
